Mountain communities are desirable locations for homes and property due mostly to cooler climates more rural lifestyle.  Although there are many mountain communities close to San Isidro, Perez Zeledon; which is the fastest growing city in the area and has all the conveniences and amenities one could ask for.  Many times mountain communities are mostly locals with ex-pats mixed in living harmoniously in paradise.
